Design Technology at West Green supports our pupils to gain technical knowledge in structures, cooking and nutrition, textiles, electrical systems and programming. Through this understanding and gaining of different skills, pupils will become confident to design and make a range of prototypes and products for a range of purposes and audiences, with increasing confidence and independence. Pupils learn the important of researching existing products, designing to a criteria, making a product based on their design and then evaluating and testing the effectiveness of their product.
