Design and Technology is an exciting, challenging and practical subject that has a key part to play in a balanced curriculum. D&T is an activity that teaches our pupils' how to ‘think’ creatively to solve real-world problems, both individually and as part of a team.
At West Green Primary School our goal is to inspire our pupils' to use their imagination and creativity to design and create products which solve real-world and relevant problems in a range of contexts, taking into account their own needs and wants as well as the needs and values of others. Our pupils' are given the opportunity to explore, think about and evaluate previous and current designs and become confident problem-solvers and creators in an ever-evolving world.
